Christmas with Chinese Characteristics. In Photos!
Today my friend Shepherd and I strolled through Beijing’s Russian quarter, to document all signs of Christmas. We found so many tacky decorations and fabulous furs, and I thought you’d like these pictures:

Santa Claus, at the traditional Chinese medicine clinic across the street from my apartment. I often visit this place for acupuncture, and it makes me smile to see their Christmas spirit!

This mall has an amazing selection of Russian wholesale fashions: furs of every color, mannequins with every hairstyle...

Our photo tour of Christmas with Chinese characteristics ended with something more familiar. Christmas carols and warm mochas!
Merry Christmas! I hope you have a lovely holiday, full of joy and good food and happiness!
love,
leslie
